Our Statement of Purpose
We exist to bring honor and glory to God (Rev 4:11). We do this chiefly
through a consuming love for God and men (Matt 22:37-40 ), expressed in
obedience to all that God commands and desires as revealed in the written
Word, the Bible, and the living Word, Jesus Christ (John 14:15). We have been given the task of making disciples of Jesus by preaching the
good news of the risen Christ (1 Cor 15:3-5) , baptizing believers in the
name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey him
fully and sacrificially (Matt 28:18-20; Luke 9:23-24). To this end we labor
from Lebanon out to the farthest reaches of the earth: that “in everything
[Christ] might be preeminent” (Col 1:18) and that “we may present everyone
mature in Christ.” (Col 1:28).
